Subject: Clever!! Witty!!
Such a clever and original idea to commemmorate a wedding! Using clips from vintage short films found right here on, and flawlessly marrying them (pun intended) with original, footage produced, written by, and featuring themselves, the (then) soon-to-be newlyweds entertain viewers with 7 minutes of informative (??) fun! The witty dialogue, and silly sound effects kept me chuckling throughout. Since this was done in 2004, this is the year of their 10th wedding anniversary. I hope it's been a happy, and fulfilling decade!

Man, I wish I'd seen _this_ video before I got married!

Nicely stitched together, very funny. I hope things work out well for our little lovebirds!

This is the kind of creativity that makes the world a better place. Seamless editing between the new and old clips. Excellent job!

Subject: I Suppose They're as Ready as They'll Ever Be
Scenes from classic Prelinger marriage films are interspersed with a contemporary couple, who act as if they are interacting with the characters from the films, especially the marriage counselor from Are You Ready for Marriage? This is lively and fun, though it could be funnier. On the other hand, itÃÂs far and away the best wedding video IÃÂve ever seen.
Ratings: Camp/Humor Value: ****. Weirdness: ****. Historical Interest: ***. Overall Rating: ****.

I thought this was hilarious without mocking the original (at least too bad). Worth a look for sure.

Subject: Bobers Go
We laughed, we cried. Mostly, we want the name of the marriage counselor as we "ping." Since that didn't seem to be an X or Y coordinate, we're hoping that's not a problem....

Pretty damn funny, but maybe a bit long. It's clips from other films I've seen on the archives intercut with black and white footage of the two that made it. Cool idea - but some jokes were hard to understand. Liked the music! And funny sound effects. I'd say make another, but would that mean you two would have to get married again?
